A. T. McLaren Limited is a Hamilton, Ontario based surveying firm, which specializes in Legal and Engineering Surveys. Since establishment in 1968 we have completed over 35,000 projects for both the public and private sector throughout the Hamilton-Wentworth, Halton, Niagara Regions, and Wellington County. This experience has allowed us to undertake many diverse and challenging projects for a broad range of clients, which include government agencies, municipalities, developers, homebuilders, architects, engineers, and private individuals.
Dan McLaren is President and manager of A. T. McLaren Limited. Dan is a member of both the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors. Our experienced field personnel carry out digital data collection using Robotic Total Stations as well as Global Positioning Systems technology. We have six survey field crews, all of which have a party chief with a minimum of 12 years’ experience. Field work is carried out using computerized total stations and data collectors. These units are in turn downloaded to CAD stations where the final drawings are prepared. In our office, we use AutoCAD and Digital Terrain Modeling software, to provide our clients with 3 dimensional digital information. Final plans are prepared in both hard copy and digital format, and can be supplied to the client by disk or E-mail.
A.T. McLaren specializes in legal and engineering surveys, but also has capabilities in data collection, raster to vector conversion and GPS technology.
